Grateful thanks to the iiBV for the new learning platform. I enrolled, in Autumn 2021 for iiBV 211 – Valuing Early Stage Companies and can honestly say that it has been the most useful and practically based Business Valuation course that I have taken this year. From the outset, learners are provided with a slide deck and a course manual which can either be kept in soft copy or printed and annotated. The course is modular which means that it can be broken down into bite-sized chunks which is ideal for busy professionals and means that learning can be accessed on the go and in evenings and weekends. Helpfully, modules can be repeated if required and there is a link for instructor contact should the need arise. Calculation sets are broken down in the notes which makes them easier to digest. On completion of the course, there is a short test to consolidate learning, and on successful completion an iiBV course certificate is awarded. However, the course is extremely practically based which means that the real benefits come from day to day application in the office on real business valuation cases. Overall, iiBV 211 – Valuing Early Stage Companies was worth every penny and I would wholeheartedly recommend the course to others.
